Tim,
I received your letter a few days ago. While I appreciate your concern and willingness to reach out, I just wanted to assuage your concerns and assure you that everything is fine. Getting old is no walk in the park, but I'm fit as a fiddle, all things considered.
In the future, please be more careful with your efforts to "touch base." Such correspondences suggesting my absence or physical frailty could be highly detrimental to my organization should they arrive in the wrong hands. I'm sure you understand, being in a position of authority yourself.
I've been extremely busy with personal matters that have diverted my attention from keeping up public appearances. Nothing dire, don't worry, but still pressing. If you need anything from me, please contact my sister, Concerta. She will be handling my personal inquiries in my absence. You can trust her, she's practically an extension of myself!
