While I think Never Ending weapons for myself is good in some cases, most of the time the ammo cost is too great for my taste. However since a single ammo of the weapon type is necessary for settlers, I give most I find to them, with a massive overall DPS (cuts reload time). I recently learned of Prototype UP77 "Limitless Potential" and I'm wondering if there's other Never Ending weapons with either a fixed location or from the same NPC?

I finally have every single achievement in New Vegas

I did the house ending first and made a save halfway through, then did the legion ending right afterwards

I know a bunch of stuff about West Coast fall up and I know why super mutants are heavily on the West Coast, But the East Coast?

There should be absolutely zero reason why mutants are actually in fallout 3 and 4, (same with the brotherhood tbh)

is there an explanation as to why there are so many in 3 and 4? I don’t know as much abt the east coast

Basically you can ignore 99% of the quest and head straight to where Dawson is located, he will be there and just kill him ( much easier to do than killing 2 rogue sentinels simultaneously ) get the holotape and activate his sentinel.

Sentinel is nearly invincible and single handled all the raiders in that Federal ration stockpile nearby with just stock equipment.

Red is weak.

With end game gear he can even single handle Libertalia while tanking the fatman nukes like a true champion.

By the way even if you ignore the 2 rogue sentinels they won't despawn once the quest is completed so no worry on missing those T-45 suits.

So, since I disarmed the bomb at Megaton, there's this NPC lady who keeps coming up and giving me random things. And there's no dialogue option, so I can't even be all smooth and like, "You've given me so much... let me offer you a cup of tea and some sweaty snugglebunnies?"

So, I'm pretty sure that people who did Railroad and Institute playthroughs were shocked to see the Prydwen in 2296. More importantly, it seems as if the numbers of the Enclave and the West Coast Brotherhood have been bolstered. I believe that by 2296, the Brotherhood controls the Boston Commonwealth and allied themselves with the Minutemen to recruit settlers. As for the Enclave, it's safe to assume the remnants of the Institute fled with their archived information in tow and formed an alliance with the Enclave remnants. What remains of the Railroad could have joined up with the NCR, though I'm not sure if they'd see eye to eye. Of course, I could be wrong as well.

What direction do you all think season two will take?

Do you suppose, when the developers sat down to design Far Harbor, someone said, "It's too easy to see things in the Commonwealth! Let's make it harder!"?

So, as much as I hate to do it, I'm going to be that gal, and ask what should be a simple question that I probably just missed the answer to in a pop-up early in the game. If so, mea culpa.

But I'm playing the games out of order. I played F4 and F76, and now I'm going back and playing F3. And... I can't figure out how to aim with my weapon sights and / or scope. Are they just for show? Improve my VATS hit chances?

Who didn’t like Audrey? I personally found her to be a bit irritating and less interesting than the other characters.

So, keep in mind that I believe it makes no difference whether a person was born a Human or manufactured a Synth. I don't think there's moral rectitude incurred by being Human, or moral turpitude by being a Synth. Therefore, I have no inherent interest in a Synth detector.

But... there is this thing I've noticed.

When you do the "Vault-Tec Workshop" quests in and around Vault 88, you gain access to refilling crates which spawn Pip-Boys. I discovered what I'm about to relate because I started giving Pip-Boys to my couriers so they could reliably get to their destinations and report any issues they had along the way. Yes; that's in my imagination, what you might call "role play." The point is, I was giving Pip-Boys to a bunch of NPCs.

And most of them would immediately equip the device, causing it to vanish out of their inventory. But some of them? Some of them wouldn't. It would just sit there in inventory. Why, you ask? Because there's a hidden inventory / gear slot which, when something is equipped in it, causes that item not to appear in the inventory list. And the thing that's normally in that slot, which causes the provisioner not to equip the Pip-Boy?

The synth component.

So if you give an NPC a Pip-Boy, and they don't equip it? They're a Synth.

So, it looks like I'm going to have to pay for Sony's Playstation Premium to be able play Fallout 3 and / or Fallout: New Vegas. and I'm almost ready to metaphorically bite the proverbial bullet and do that. So here's my question:

Other than preference, is there any particular reason to play one of those before the other?

It was good before the patch but now it's even better due to the addition of Hellfire and X02 PA into the game. I was testing it on very hard at level 50 and Sentinel just wiped out exterior of dunwich borers without my help.

Having a Hellfire trooper companion sure feels good, a shame they didn't put it in the next gen patch.

76 has given me a bugged quest where the adobo brain I’m supposed to talk to is apparently marked as hostile??? And since 76 NPCs are marked essential it literally just means the sergeant is endlessly shooting at him for some reason. Bro what???
