Fallout 1/2/Tactics
I easily clipped Morpheus and the nightkin, but all my companions died. To make matters worse, I don’t know how to exit the tower. If I go down the stairs, it takes me to the second highest floor, but trying to continue down the stairs takes me back up to the top. Can anyone help me???
I decided to resume my Fallout 1 playthrough. I made it to the Boneyard and now I have power armor, a minigun, and a rocket launcher, as well as every companion, all of them decked out with the best weapons (except Ian, who died in an “accident”) yet I cannot beat that fucking deathclaw mother. It slaughters my companions before finishing me off, my weapons keep missing and even when they don't, they don't do shit to it’s health, and my power armor fails to deflect most of it’s hits. The only reason I am doing this quest is because I heard there’s an exploit to get infinite stimpaks from a Blades member but is only available if the Blade help you liberate Adytum (which you have to kill the death claws to unlock the option) so if anyone can correct me that completing this quest is not required for the exploit, please do. I am seriously tired of this shit!
Has anyone seen any info regarding a company (with Bethesda's blessing) working on upgrading Fallout 2 with graphics like those in Fallout 4? I read something about this in Apple news but the article had very little detail and I can't seem to find anything about this otherwise. Thanks!

I am aware by the time many see this the codes are potentially already redeemed by someone who sees this. The codes are only able to be activated once per account so in theory 5 people will get both games or 10 people will get one of each. Redeem on steam by going to the games tab in steam and clicking the activate a product on steam tab then enter the code and it will be added to your steam account.
I hope whoever gets these enjoys them they are classic and amazing story wise, I recommend getting the cheatboy modification which you can find on YouTube (mainly since it’s a steep learning curve if you’ve never played it before).
Fallout 1 Codes:
GTPGX-HYZ8Y-IFJYX
Y2FG8-BXTQY-MNF7X
G4HMN-GY3FF-PIRNE
AYEVP-MZDMK-ENH79
BJZIK-HX7QR-HIQ4A
Fallout 2 codes:
QZVXP-6JJGX-GYRVH
JNLJ4-5IKG2-GMP2N
94FY5-ETHXR-02P69
M2DBC-90L7T-RIAIP
PMVMV-26F3Z-RRRL4
This is gonna sound stupid but these are some basic questions
Can someone give me a rundown of all controls
How do I switch between my two main weapons
How much xp do I need to level up each time
Talking to Chuck and asking for his advice leads to him doing a Tarot reading for the Vault Dweller. By getting various "fortunes," Chuck will place markers on the world map for the locations.
Can someone verify this information? In all the time I played the first part, Chuck never once marked any of the locations. Even when I specifically checked without finding any of the locations, he didn't place anything on the map. Also the lost hills are in the other direction.
I attacked Harry with three grenades (second or third one missed) and Ian went in to stab him, one of the mutants came in and burnt Ian to a crisp. Now I’m running around the side of the building fending off three super mutants with only a hunting rifle. Dogmeat is cowering in some other building so I am all alone. THERE IS NO WAY I AM SURVIVING 💀💀💀
It didn’t go as planned, but I was able to kill the mutants at the watershed. It gave me the “For crushing your foes, you earn 750 XP” message, but then Harry pops up on screen telling me he is going to hurt me. He flees into the watershed so we follow him and kill him. Why would the game tell me I won if Harry was still alive?
I’ve reached the watershed to repair the pump and have been faced with two problems:
1: I don't know how I am supposed to kill all these super mutants when one non-critical shot from just Harry’s flamethrower eats up 34 of my 54 hit points. I also don’t have anymore armor; I traded the leather jackets and the combat armor for supplies.
2: I am trying to make this playthrough as “canon” as possible and that means Ian has to die by Barry’s flamer. How do I orchestrate his death? (This is also why I can’t go join the Brotherhood and get myself a suit of power armor and a minigun to fight the mutants.)
Me and Ian arrived in Junktown. We talked to Killian and this guy came in and tried to assassinate him, but me, Killian, Ian, Dogmeat, and the guards fucked him up. Now we will go make Gizmo confess himself. The music here is really creepy, and it kind of feels out of place IMO. I think its the same soundtrack in Vault 34. It sounds like the typical music in those “3 Scary True Horror Stories” kinda videos.
Anyways, either I have not leveled up yet or I have but I somehow missed it, so is this normal or should I be concerned?
So I bought the Vault holodisc from the librarian lady at the Hub to find the water chip. She said I need to scan it on my Pip-Boy or something, but I don’t know how, anyone can tell me?
Also, I’m running low on caps after paying the water merchants and this lady, and I’ve already traded the combat armor taken from the Khans… what do I do??? I’m not very short on supplies, but soon enough I will be. I plan on getting the backpack from Necropolis, but if it’s worth a fair amount then I might sell it.
I scavenged all the supplies and equipment I could from Shady Sands and Vault 15 to attack the Khans. The attack took a few tries and I ended up going in and lobbing two grenades at Death-Hand, killing him and a few of his cronies. We retreated to the back of the building and killed some more raiders, where we looted their gear. After that, we went back to the front and took down about seven(?) Khans. The last two or three almost killed me so I had to run away while Ian beat them to death each turn. I used some stimpaks that Ian had on him by default and we killed three more Khans. We freed Tandi, looted the bodies, killed another Khan we missed, and will soon return to Shady Sands.
Anyways, I saw on here that combat armor is worth 6.5K per one set, so if I sell them to NPCs in town, will they have limited caps or can I sell all this gear right away?
I resolved the ammo shortage in Vault 15. I found some more ammo and an 10mm SMG. I keep missing the majority of my shots while Ian rarely (if ever) misses, so I gave the remainder of my ammunition and the machine gun to him. However, while Ian is strengthened, I am forced to use a knife in combat, so if anyone could tell me where to find more ammo for my pistol then that'd be great. Better yet, when should I replace the pistol?
I had to restart the game and rebuild my character because I was unaware of the importance of Agility, but me and Ian have made it to the third floor of Vault 15. We're both low on ammo and haven't gotten through all the enemies yet so I begin to panic, and to make things worse, Ian is wounded, and I do not know how to heal him. Could someone tell me please?
How am I supposed to get the water chip when time passes by so fast??? All I did was exit the cave, fight a scorpion, meet some people in armor in the desert, and go to Shady Sands.
I made it to Shady Sands (not before getting my ass kicked by a scorpion and meeting a bunch of dudes in combat armor guarding a random patch of desert)… how do I recruit my baby boy Ian???
I was hoping Ian wouldn't eat up ammo like the companions in later games, but a Google search put that hope down.
Anyways, me and Ian just cleared out the radscorpion cave for the people of Shady Sands. I could only fire one shot before running out of AP, so mostly it was Ian who did all the work. They say he always misses and hits the player instead, but he only shot me once.
So is keeping up his ammo supply a major concern and a top priority or should I just neglect it until I find a merchant?
