The note is on a nightstand near the bed in a suite in Quentino's Night Club in Atlantic City. It is accessed by taking a double door on the eastern side of the second floor, then heading up the stairs.

How're you holding up Q?
I know the Family only works in favors, but I'm not writing to ask you for anything. I wanted to see how you're doing with the illness and all. Getting old is a heavy burden, believe you me. None of the inspirational quotes Frieda throws at me have changed my mind on that.
Been trying to reach you for a while now, actually. Never got a reply. You know, I'm beginning to wonder if there's someone else reading these letters. And they probably won't like it if I call their bluff.
I hope you're getting better, Q. I really do.
