Governor Evans,
The President and Secretary of Defense would like to extend their thanks for your continued support of our armed forces. Keeping the supply of steel, coal, and other materials vital to the war effort flowing smoothly is the responsibility of every Freedom loving American and the Liberation of Anchorage would not have been possible without them.
Several cabinet members have expressed admiration for the economic policies you have put in place that have allowed for such leaps in automation and and the expediency with which you have quelled dissent.
We would like to extend a formal invitation to you as well as other political and industrial leaders from the region to a summit that is being organized to discuss how such technology can be spread.

Prior to Wastelanders, the full text of the note could be clearly read, with the signature section lightly faded. The Wastelanders update adjusted the filter to include the second and third paragraph, which completely obscured the signature lines. However, the last three lines were still present, and were simply significantly more faded than they were before, to the point that they were not visible in-game. This was patched as of the Skyline Valley update.[patched]
