Paranoia has been eating away at me lately. Quentino's condition has...let's just say it's worsened. It goes without saying that I am eternally grateful for your discretion regarding this.
Most here are unaware of anything being awry. But some of the capos have started to suspect me. Namely, Fabio. He used to be happy just waggling his tongue at anyone who would listen. But since Antonio's departure, he's changed. I believe he never thought it possible for him to be godfather, but now sees a weak point to exploit.
Charlotte, I know he is your friend, but here is where I must implore you for a favor. Do NOT tell Fabio anything. He will ask you. He will pry. But you know as well as I do that he's a fool that just discovered what ambition is. The Family will crumble if he takes over.
Please, take what I said into consideration. You're one of the wisest people I know.
