When Roy turns on his television, the weather newscaster appears on it, talking about the Los Angeles sunshine coming through. However, he breaks his professional character to tell someone named Hal, stating he's uncertain whether he should continue noting his thoughts on whether or not there'll be a next week. This abrupt remark from the weatherman prompts Mrs. Spencer to change the channel.^[1]
