The news anchor is a character in the Fallout TV series.

Background[]

The news anchor is a pre-War newscaster who was mainly shown reporting on current American events.

Fallout TV series[]

In the episode The End, the news anchor played in the Spencer household Television set, talking about the situation between America and its adversaries. Both sides had crumbled that morning at Anchorage, Alaska. He continued to talk about the specter of a nuclear war facing the nation for the past ten years, but his broadcast was turned off by Mrs. Spencer. Her reason for doing it was to focus on the party for her son Roy Spencer.

The news anchor appears again in the episode, The Trap, where he appears on a Television set talking about how all nations are racing to secure uranium as a way to control the future of energy, as a shortage of it has made allies turn into potential competitors. Because of this, the news anchor questions if energy prices would surge that winter, while also causing an expansion to the ongoing war. He ends his broadcast by stating the details would be spoken after a word from his network's newest sponsor.

Personality[]

The news anchor portrayed himself as a calm and professional person who calmly spoke the details regarding it despite the imminent possibility of a nuclear war.

Appearances[]

The news anchor appears only in the Fallout TV series episodes "The End" and "The Trap".
