Hello, my name is Nicholas, and I'm a 20 year old living in the American Southeast. In my free time I enjoy reading very large novels, drawing, antiquing, hiking, old music and movies, getting into random arguments for fun, and working on the wiki. I am deeply infatuated with the 1950s and the American Southwest, so it's little surprise what my favorite game is. One of my goals in life is to visit all of the National Parks in the United States. I've never left the continent, though I have traveled to both Mexico and Canada on numerous occasions. My first introduction to the Fallout franchise was in the Summer of 2017, through the masterpiece Fallout: New Vegas. I had played Bethesda's Oblivion and Skyrim previously, and heard good things about this series. So, when I encountered a copy of the Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition at Half Price Books, I decided I should give it a try. I wish I remembered my initial impressions of the game, given how important it would become to me, but I don't. I would later get Fallout 4, Fallout 3, Fallout 76, and Fallout 2. Now I won't pretend that New Vegas is a perfect game, but it is without question my favorite. I believe that Bethesda is really good at building an interesting world, but they make some really bad decisions, and their main questlines somehow always end up spectacularly awful. It would be a long time before I discovered the canceled Fallout projects, from Fallout Extreme to Van Buren to Fallout Tactics 2, and I wish they could have come to fruition.

I began editing the wiki in early 2020, as I was referencing it a lot for a personal project. I noticed a few minor errors and things I could contribute, and figured that since I was coming here so often I might as well do what I could to improve the wiki for everybody else. That quickly grew, especially as the world shut down in the face of a pandemic and we were all stuck inside. My main focus was locations, factions, and the canceled games, though I've touched on nearly every part of the wiki during my time here. I was an avid editor for more than a year, before fundamental differences in opinion between myself and some of the other editors over several months and some personal matters killed most of my passion for editing and eventually the franchise as a whole. Thankfully though, I have returned after my time away, and hope to jump right back in the saddle.
