The Beach is a small stretch of coast, located near the destroyed West Tek research facility.
Background[]
A group of combined Guardian Brotherhood and Brotherhood of Steel forces landed on the beach in search of a tunnel to the Glow. After being ambushed by Super mutants in Power armor and pushed towards a crack in the rocks they thought might be the tunnel, they were surrounded by a group of four mutant mantis shrimp. Before anything happened, both the mantis shrimp and super mutants were scared off by a mysterious creature in the ocean. The outcome of the mission was never revealed.

The Beach appears in the short story "On the Beach," published in The Armageddon Rag, Vol. 3. It may have appeared in Fallout Online, Interplay's original Project V13.
