In the boardgame Heart of Steel: A Dread Island Tale, the map on which the game is played is recorded as being made in Amsterdam.[1]

Behind the scenes[]
The description on the map, including the mention of Amsterdam, is copied almost entirely from a map of the North Atlantic Ocean, made in 1700 in Amsterdam by the Dutch cartographer Pierre Mortier. The only distinctions are the in-game map is labeled as a map of the Pacific Ocean, and made by "Pietro Portier" rather than Pierre Mortier.[Non-game 1]
