“Who, me? Oh, I'm not that interesting. Came here from Kentucky. Wanted to see more of the world.I had a pretty happy childhood. We had a whole commune. All the kids raised together, so I had like two dozen siblings and lots of parents! Got here, heard about the Responders, and thought: that's for me! It's like my moms always said: when everybody pitches in, there's nothing we can't do together.”

Background[]
She comes from Kentucky. She had a rather happy childhood and was raised in a commune with other children, with adults acting as their parental figures. She considered the other children, about two dozen of them, to be her siblings. Later, she realized that collective parenting was not the norm, and considered other peoples' lack of a community family to be "pretty weird" instead. She eventually wanted to see more of the world and went to West Virginia. She heard about the revival of the Responders and signed up.
In 2104, Sophie joined the new group at the Whitespring Refuge. Sophie was put in charge of a donation drive by Rucker and became well-liked by Orlando.
