Every released Fallout game has featured voice acting, though it has appeared in many different forms. In Fallout and Fallout 2, only talking heads were voiced, though the transition to a 3D environment with Fallout 3 created the need for all characters to be voiced. Since then, all characters that appear in a Fallout game are voice acted, though often times there are overlap in actors who perform multiple roles.
