The Poseidon gas station is a location in the Mojave Wasteland in Fallout: New Vegas.
Background[]
Once a property of Poseidon Energy before the Great War, the gas station has since been abandoned and seemingly used as a waste disposal site due to the significant number of waste barrels littering the site and leaving it highly irradiated by 2281.
Layout[]
Situated near the beginning of Nevada State Route 160, southwest of the west entrance of the South Vegas ruins and northeast of Chance's map, the gas station's interior is inaccessible. Outside of the building, the player character will find a garbage can and a highway patrol car, both containing minor loot.
Notes[]
- Picking up the items in the police cruiser may result in the items clipping underneath the vehicle or ground and becoming inaccessible.
- Slightly south of the gas station is a large camp composed of old campers and trailers, used by Violet, a leading member of the Fiends and occupied by her large horde of Fiend hounds including Violetta. Both Violet and Violetta are relevant to Three-Card Bounty and Nothin' But a Hound Dog respectively.
