Lake Las Vegas is a location in the Mojave Wasteland in Fallout: New Vegas.

Background[]

A post-War lake created when the New California Republic damned and separated the area from Lake Mead to the northeast as part of their garrisoning of the House Resort, turning it into Camp Golf. The lake itself is primarily utilized to irrigate the NCR sharecropper farms to the northwest via a long snaking pipeline.[1]

Layout[]

Situated adjacent to and slightly south of Camp Golf, one can find some remains of golf and shopping carts, and plenty of tires scattered across the lake bed. There is also a drainage pipe on the northeastern side and a Sunset Sarsaparilla crate on a cliff face to the southwest of the lake next to a green yard chair.

Appearances[]

Lake Las Vegas appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.

Behind the scenes[]

The in-game Lake Las Vegas is located in the same geographical area as the real world Lake Las Vegas, a man-made lake featuring several resorts and golf courses along its perimeter.
