Bah. Looks like I forgot to lock the doors again. If you're with the NCR, get out. This place is mine, and I'm not leaving.Orion Moreno

Orion Moreno's house is an unmarked location in the Mojave Wasteland in Fallout: New Vegas.

Background[]

After the sacking of Navarro by the New California Republic, Orion Moreno, one of the Enclave remnants eventually settled down, claiming one of the abandoned buildings outside New Vegas. He had lived there well into his senior years when the NCR began moving into the Mojave in the mid-2270s. Already displeased by having to share space with the Enclave's former enemies, Moreno was further disgruntled when they began trying to force him off the land he had been living on long before they arrived, in order to make space for their crop farms.[1]

Layout[]

Situated just north of the NCR sharecropper farms, the building consists of a one story home surrounded by a broken white picket fence. It has a fireplace, carport, and two entrance doors.

Inside, the bed can be slept in without penalty. However, most items inside are considered owned and will result in Karma loss if stolen. The interior is identical to Doc Mitchell's house.

Notable loot[]

  • Explorer's gear - Carried by Moreno (if For Auld Lang Syne has not been completed).

Appearances[]

Orion Moreno's house appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.

Orion Moreno: {cynicaily chuckles} Oh, like you wouldn't believe. The NCR makes a habit out of wrecking homes. I came out here to get away from them - didn't work out so well. Next thing I know, I'm squatting in "their" land. Never mind that I'd already been living here for years."
