The coyote den is a location in the Mojave Wasteland in Fallout: New Vegas.
Layout[]
Situated just west of the hidden supply cave and north of Nipton, the location consists of an open cave with several coyotes roaming around the entrance. There is no entry door, just a dark cavern in the side of the mountain where a dead Bright follower can be found lying next to a pile of bones.
In the shallow cave, there will be a coyote den mother, a regular coyote, and two or three coyote pups. They may not attack unless provoked or approached.
Notes[]
- A centaur may be found within the den.
- The fast travel point does not place the player character in immediate combat range.
- The ambient music played here is "Serenity", which was previously used for Modoc in Fallout 2.
- A single lottery ticket can be found at the entrance.
