Knob Hill Mine, or Knob Hill, is an unused location in the Mojave Wasteland.
Background[]
Overlooking the Colorado River, a mine shaft connecting to the nearby Techatticup Mine was filled in, no longer providing access after it was filled with abandoned radioactive waste barrels.[1][2]
Appearances[]
Knob Hill Mine is mentioned in the Fallout: New Vegas Official Game Guide Collector's Edition and appeared on an early map of Fallout: New Vegas, where it was southwest of Nelson[3] but was ultimately not included in the final game.
Behind the scenes[]
The fictional Knob Hill Mine is based on the real-world Knob Hill Spring in Clark County, Nevada.[4]

Along the road, you may meet Private Renolds, talking about "that bastard" Alexus; a Legion commander who's take his squad hostage. This begins Side Quest: Anywhere I Wander, but you can free (or ignore or kill) the NCR in here without running into Renolds. Check the Hollowed-Out Rock at the entrance before proceeding."
