We got some pretty good stuff from the last raid, and unlike last time, I don't want any incidents. The only logical conclusion was to hide everything throughout this room. If you can read this, you have my permission to use any items you can find.Treasure hunt note

The storage building is an unmarked location within Black Mountain in the Mojave Wasteland in Fallout: New Vegas.

Layout[]

Situated in-between the prison building and the broadcast building at the peak of the mountain, the building has a single entrance facing the transmission tower. Inside, there are several random items, a Nuka-Cola vending machine, locked chests, and a broken Mister Handy robot by the name of Rhonda; the robot can be repaired via a 60 Science skill check, which will cause Tabitha to spawn as non-hostile upon leaving the building.

Notable loot[]

Notes[]

  • There are four missiles in the storage building, not three, as Tabitha's note indicates. The fourth one is sandwiched between a board and the upturned desk against the northeast wall, underneath one of the building's big trunks.
  • If one enters the building and then doesn't fix Rhonda, within three in-game days, she will disappear and won't come back. If one intends to repair Rhonda for the positive ending to Crazy, Crazy, Crazy, one must have, or be able to temporarily achieve (via certain armor pieces, skill magazines, chems, etc.), a minimum 60 Science skill level.

Appearances[]

The storage building appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.

Bugs[]

Xbox 360Xbox 360 When trying to exit after talking to Tabitha (if the player character fixes Rhonda before the quest is given), the door may be impossible to interact with, even though the "open door" option appears. This is fixed only by reloading a save made before entering the building. This problem can also be solved simply by killing Rhonda. [verified]
