DJ Carl is a radio station host in the Fallout TV series.
Background[]
DJ Carl operates KPSS in the Hollywood Hills, playing music only he has a preference for, fiddling in particular. However, he has booby-trapped his radio station extensively to protect himself from any "critics" who attempt to silence his broadcasts, which are numerous.

The Radio[]
As Thaddeus carrying Wilzig's head trudges through the wasteland with a broken foot, DJ Carl's voice could be heard via broadcast and notes that, like all weeks, it's fiddle music week. A week where he'll spend all of his airtime playing his small selection of fiddle music to his listeners. He further adds that if the listener doesn't like his fiddle music, DJ Carl reminds the listener that he doesn't allow visitors at his station and recommends a simple postcard instead.
Eventually, Thaddeus reaches DJ Carl's station and sits and waits for his ride from his Brotherhood of Steel colleagues. He thanks DJ Carl for allowing him to use his radio, which DJ Carl downplays as nothing.
Thaddeus then asks DJ Carl if people don't enjoy his fiddle music. DJ Carl then remarked that people get really mad and that they don't realize that the music he plays is original recordings. He explains the various sound tunes that fiddles music makes to Thaddeus, who tries to understand and agreed with.
Thaddeus changes the subject to the booby traps that DJ Carl had placed around his station to deter what he calls critics. DJ Carl then spots Lucy and Maximus walking toward the station and asked Thaddeus if they were his ride. However, when Thaddeus starts firing at them, he realizes that's not the case and closes up his station.

DJ Carl is a soft-spoken individual who enjoys listening to and playing fiddle music. Despite his cordial demeanor, he detests what he calls critics and has armed his radio station with various booby traps to deter or eliminate them.
