Sugarfoot was a horse who lived in the pre-War era and appears in the Fallout TV series.

Background[]

Sugarfoot was apparently owned by Cooper Howard around the 2070s and participated in his small-time performance gig that Howard worked in for income after the divorce from his wife Barb Howard.

Cooper and Janey flee on Sugarfoot as the bombs fall on Los Angeles

On October 23, 2077, Cooper and Sugarfoot were performing lasso tricks at Roy Spencer's birthday party in the suburbs near Los Angeles, with his birthday party guests and their respective parents in attendance and Cooper's daughter Janey Howard helping as an assistant. After the performance, Roy was allowed to ride on Sugarfoot's saddle while Roy's father Bob Spencer took pictures, including one of Roy's mother Mrs. Spencer with the horse.

When the bombs began dropping and the other guests ran to their cars, Cooper loaded Janey onto Sugarfoot and rode downhill to an unknown destination.

It is unknown what happened to Sugarfoot afterward as over 200 years later, he is not seen with, nor does the ghoulified Cooper mention him.

The Head[]

During the filming of the movie The Man from Deadhorse, Sugarfoot is briefly ridden by Cooper's character, and after the shot is over, two stagehands take care of him.

Notes[]

Sugarfoot is the first named horse to physically appear in the Fallout series. Although horses previously appeared in the graphic novel All Roads in a flashback to the Bitter Springs Massacre, their inclusion may have been erroneous.[1]

Appearances[]

Sugarfoot appears only in the Fallout TV series episode "The End".
