Tony Lagren

Tony Lagren was a member of the Cutthroats raider gang in Appalachia.

Background[]

Tony was an administrator of the Intranet terminal network found at the Pleasant Valley Ski Resort, which he repurposed for the Cutthroats' use some time after their founding.^[1] He also ran a message board for the raiders to use, although it was used as a hotbed of vitriolic rumors, causing it to be scrubbed frequently. On November 16th, 2086, Tara Laramie attempted to convince Tony to lock Mark Jackson out of the system temporarily, so that he would stop spreading gossip about her and Davey Burnett.^[2]

The system was also plagued with technical issues, causing it to crash multiple times per month. Although some, like Jack Earley, were polite in asking for Tony's help,^[3] others, like Alyx Harrison and Rocky Tallon, insulted Tony and his work whenever the Intranet went down.^[4] Frustrated with everything, Tony sent out an exasperated memo addressed to "all you fuckers," telling the other raiders that if they needed to talk to someone, that they should "get off [their] ass and go find them."^[5]

The next day, Tony received a message from David Thorpe, the leader of the Cutthroats. He told Tony that, while he understood his situation, he did not appreciate being called a "fucker" by a subordinate. David scheduled a meeting between the two of them at 2:30 on November 19, stating that there were some things they needed to discuss.^[6]
