Background[]
Jack sent a message to Vincent Fried concerning Margie McClintock's actions at the Palace of the Winding Path. He claimed that he overheard Margie telling the librarian at the palace to change the admin password on the holotape duplication terminal. This way, the others would not be able to access the Diehards key fragment. Jack exclaimed that Margie had been lying to Vincent. Jack investigated the librarian and found where he kept the new password, a hidden compartment inside the dresser in his bunk room. He warned Vincent to not let Margie know, or she would have it changed again.[1]
