He exchanged correspondence with fellow Cutthroat, Snake Rogers, describing the assignments he'd been given by David Thorpe.[1] In his letters, he asked Snake whether they wanted to also be assigned to North Cutthroat camp, reasoning that the Order of Mysteries never hit the same checkpoint twice, making North Cutthroat camp (one of the earliest raider checkpoints to be attacked) the most safe place to be.[2]
