Grafton High School is an unmarked location within the city of Grafton in the Toxic Valley region of Appalachia.
Background[]
Before the Great War, Grafton High School served young residents of Grafton as the main source of education. The school was active in sports, with a competitive football team's home field on campus. This football team, the Grafton High Monsters, were the West Virginia state champions of 2076.[1]
Layout[]
Located on Main Street, Grafton High School has one main school building with a long hallway on its first floor. Access to higher floors is blocked by rubble on a staircase. The western end of the hallway has two intact classrooms, one of which has a messy pile of desks, while the other classroom is fairly normal. The first floor also has several lockers that can be looted. The school's gymnasium, which was being used as a polling station, has lots of rubber and leather from the kickballs, basketballs and baseballs in the equipment room. The school building is overall littered with petrified corpses.
Outside is a large football field next to a toxic lake. There are two sets of spectators' stands, one for the home team and one for the away team. Next to the descending stairs is a locked shed (Picklock 0) with first aid inside. Another storage shed is on the far east side of the field. There are two crashed school buses by the lake, one of which has a tinker's workbench inside of it. The buses have makeshift ramps that lead up to the school's roof. There are two super mutant-built wooden houses on the roof. One of them has a locked fridge (Picklock 0) with an ammo box inside.
The other house has another first aid box and a cooking stove. The end of the roof has a chem cooler and a perch for snipers. The eastern side of the entrance has another school bus with a first aid box and a duffle bag.

The Atomic Shop contains a number of Grafton High-related items, including a red Grafton High hat, two Grafton High posters, and a skin for the bed. The vintage football outfit under armor is #77 from the Grafton High football team.
