Skyline Valley is one of the seven regions of Appalachia in Fallout 76, introduced in the Skyline Valley update. It is found south of the Savage Divide, in between the Ash Heap and the Cranberry Bog.

Skyline Valley refers to the area surrounding Shenandoah National Park in Virginia, a major U.S. tourist attraction and wilderness area. Prior to the Great War, much of the land around Shenandoah was bought by business magnates Hugo and Cassidy Stolz.

• Skyline Valley is the only region of Appalachia that was not present in-game at release; it was introduced with a southward map expansion as part of the Skyline Valley update.
• The Skyline Valley region is mentioned on several occasions as being part of the Shenandoah National Park. Maps for the park appear in-game, comprising locations within the region.

Behind the scenes[]

The Skyline Valley region is based upon the real-life Skyline Drive, a National Parkway in the Shenandoah National Park in the state of Virginia. Lead designer Carl McKevitt took a research trip to Skyline Drive in 2023, and teased its eventual appearance in-game on Twitter.^{[Non-game 1]}
