Great balls of fire! It's time to heat things up with the all-new Cremator!Atomic Shop entitlement description

The Cremator is a heavy weapon in Fallout 76, introduced in the Expeditions: Atlantic City update part two, America's Playground.

Characteristics[]

The Cremator is more like an auto grenade launcher than a flamer.

Like the flamer, the Cremator deals fire damage and applies a burning effect to its targets. Unlike the flamer, the Cremator lobs explosive fireballs, applies its burning effect to enemies within the fireball's explosion, and consumes 10 fuel per shot.

Furthermore, the burning effect is large, dealing 50 fire damage a second for 6 seconds at base,[1] and can be increased to 80 fire damage a second for 12 seconds[2] with the slow burning mod. This damage over time effect scales with additive damage bonuses like Heavy Gunner perks, Adrenal Reaction and the Junkie's legendary effect, and is unaffected by armor penetration buffs like Stabilized.

Notes[]

  • The Cremator cannot roll the Two Shot legendary effect.
  • The Cremator is not player tradeable.
  • The Cremator's damage over time appears larger than its projectile damage because damage over time effects display their total damage over their duration, rather than their per second damage.
  • Players take a reduced 3Fire/second from the Cremator's damage over time effect, regardless of mods.

Changelog[]

  • The Cremator's stats were adjusted in patch 1.7.11.12.
    • Ammo cost per shot was reduced from 15 to 10 fuel.
    • Base damage was increased from 40/60/80Fire to 75/86/100Fire at levels 30, 40, and 50.
    • Damage from the Cremator's inherent DOT effect was increased from 15/20/25Fire to 20/35/50Fire at levels 30, 40, and 50.
    • Bonus base fire damage of the Heavy barrel was increased from 30/45/60Fire to 60/80/100Fire at levels 30, 40, and 50.
    • 40Fire bonus base fire damage was added to the Dual shot barrel.
    • Damage from the Slowburn tank's DOT effect was increased from 20/30/40Fire to 30/55/80Fire at levels 30, 40, and 50.
    • Area damage from fireballs was increased from 0 to 10/15/20Fire at levels 30, 40, and 50.
      • Prior to this patch, the fireballs erroneously dealt 100% of the weapon's damage.[4]
  • Prior to Patch 52, the Cremator and it's mods was only available via season 17, Duel with the Devil.
