The Radio[]
The Ghoul's Mare's Leg is seen in his possession again while confronting Tommy and Tommy in their house. It appears again when the Ghoul finds CX404 trapped inside a Nuka-Cola freezer at a [[Red Rocket (TV series)|Red Rocket station.
The Beginning[]
The Ghoul's Mare's Leg is seen once again as he confronts Hank MacLean in Lee Moldaver's chamber inside the Griffith Observatory and later as he exits the place with Lucy in tow.
Behind the scenes[]
The name "Mare's Leg" originated from the 1950s Western television series Wanted Dead or Alive, where it was used as the name of the protagonist Josh Randall's weapon; Randall is also a bounty hunter, just like the Ghoul. It has since become a generic name for any Winchester Model 1892 rifle with a shortened stock and barrel.
According to firearm historian Jonathan Ferguson, the gun used in the show is based on a cut-down Winchester Model 1973 rifle but with some design changes.[3]
