The frag grenade is a weapon appearing in the Fallout TV series.
Characteristics[]
Fragmentation grenades, or frag grenades, are small hand-thrown bombs. They contain a dense core of high explosives encased in a metallic body designed to fragment upon detonation. Wounding effects come from both the explosive blast and the propelled fragments. The metallic case of fragmentation grenades may be preformed into a matrix designed to break apart evenly.
In the TV series[]
Moments after the Brotherhood of Steel enter the Griffith Observatory, they encounter the Ghoul. He kills one of the knights, and in the blackout, kills another using a frag grenade.
