Toughness is a perk in Fallout: New Vegas.

Taking each rank of this perk increases Damage Threshold by a factor of +3, for a total of +6 if both are taken.
Notes[]
- This perk is ideal for players using light armor and synergizes well with Travel Light and Light Touch for the same reason.
- Taking this perk can neutralize the -2 decrease to Damage Threshold from the Kamikaze trait, however the permanent 15% decrease to Damage Resistance from Kamikaze is not affected.
- Despite not having the Fallout: New Vegas version of the perk, Stella gains a 10% damage resistance exactly like the Fallout 3 version when fought in the arena.
- In each respective game, the chest emblem has a number signifying a vault. Fallout and Fallout 2 each have a 13 on them, representing Vault 13. In Fallout 3, the chest emblem has a 101, representing Vault 101. In Fallout New Vegas it is a 21, representing Vault 21. And in Fallout 4, the Vault Boy's chest emblem has a 111 on it, signifying Vault 111.
