Caldriss "Deadeyes" Hemlock is a Brotherhood of Steel auditor general in 2197.
Background[]
A lithe, sinewy man in his fifties, Caldriss is one of the original Brotherhood members who left Lost Hills to cross the Rockies in pursuit of the Unity remnants. He's old enough to have met the Vault Dweller when he was a teenager or young adult,[2] though he didn't think much of them at the time. Caldriss grew to be one of the Brotherhood's most lethal assassins, earning the nickname "Deadeyes" after his dead-looking eyes.[1]
After retiring from active duty, Caldriss was granted the post of Auditor General, responsible for performing audits and collecting dues for the Brotherhood. His calculating nature and attention to detail served him well. By 2197, his hair is graying and balding, although it doesn't stop him. He evidently doesn't mind field duty, as he was sent to the town of Cold Water to collect three stolen suits of power armor and the bodies of the thieves, after the Warrior killed the rogue members. Afterwards, he continued his duties as auditor at Bunker Epsilon.[1]

- According to the localization files, Caldriss was supposed to speak with a French accent like Jean Reno, with strange pauses. For one reason or another, his voice actor delivers the lines in a classic American voice.[1]
