Brooke's Head Lighthouse is a location on the Island in 2287.
Background[]
The lighthouse was formerly the base of operations for Danny Dalton, the deceased husband of Cassie Dalton, and his crew of traders. Danny gave his life to save some of his crew from Douglas and his gang of trappers, who took over the lighthouse when they returned from a trip.
Layout[]
There are four main points of interest in the area: the manor, the lighthouse connected to the manor, the docks to the south, and the shack to the west. Most trappers are in the manor, while their leader Douglas is at the top of the lighthouse.
The three-story manor has suffered significant damage over the years, but most of the roof and walls are still standing. The first floor consists of two living rooms, a bathroom, a dining room, a kitchen with its cooking stove and a separate cooking station, and a backroom with a dryer, a washer, a couple of display cases, and a chemistry station.
Entrance to the lighthouse
Two different flights of stairs lead to the second floor, which features a restroom and four bedrooms, each equipped with a double bed. In the northern part of the floor, there are stairs leading to the attic. The attic is furnished with a chemistry station, two beds, and a makeshift walkway leading to the roof.
The entrance to the lighthouse is on the first floor of the manor, in the southern backroom. An armor workbench is on the ground floor. At the top of the lighthouse is Douglas' quarters. A bed, a cooking stove, a steamer trunk, and issue #2 of the Islander's Almanac can be found here. An elevator fashioned from a row boat descends to the docks.
The docks are usually defended by three trappers and a machinegun turret. At the top of the docks, inside a salvaged boat cabin, an Advanced-locked terminal controls both the turret and the spotlight attached to the cabin overlooking the docks. Underwater below the western section of the pier is an Expert-locked trunk which can be opened with Douglas's key.
The wooden shack consists of a single room with a weapons workbench and an empty power armor frame in front of a power armor station.

Brooke's Head Lighthouse appears only in the Fallout 4 add-on Far Harbor.
Behind the scenes[]
Brooke's Head Lighthouse is based on the location of the real-world Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse. While this real-world lighthouse is depicted on the "Welcome to Bar Harbor" sign near Far Harbor, Brooke's Head Lighthouse does not resemble the real lighthouse.
Bugs[]
During the quest Quartermastery, when the player character is supposed to recover the flux sensor at this location, the quest icon and flux sensor are not accessible after starting the first quest for the residents of Far Harbor.[verified]- After destroying the turret by the docks with the help of the Mysterious Stranger, the lighthouse entrance door can sometimes lose its collision properties and become unusable, making it impossible to get the Islander's Almanac. Restarting the game will resolve the issue.[verified]
