I wish I had better news. But your assessment of the patient is correct. After digging through the university's archives even in the old world there weren't any solutions to the specified problem. Nothing even remotely approaching clinical trials. I doubt our mutual friend has any better news. Again, regrets.
Is everything OK over there? We keep seeing islanders coming through. They tell disturbing stories. If you EVER seek to leave, my friends and I would eagerly welcome you. If things get too bad, either leave or send word.
