Daniel "Danny" Dalton was Cassie Dalton's husband, and one of the best fishermen on the Island.

One day, Danny and his crew went out to their favorite fishing spot by Brooke's Head Lighthouse. Unbeknownst to them, a group of Trappers occupied the lighthouse, and their leader took the opportunity to use the crew for target practice. Danny was shot between the eyes and his crew fled back to port in a grief-stricken panic. With his death, his widow Cassie blamed the island's "curse" for her family's ruin.[1]
