???F - Warp (2): This is the hundred and twenty-ninth chapter of Volume 3 of Tower of God. After obtaining two floating ships carrying Khun among others and Lo Po Bia Family members, Gustang takes his leave from Lo Po Bia Family Mothership. Traumerei comes to an agreement with Jinsung about arranging a Marriage Tournament with Baam as the price, to the dismay of Baam and Lilial.
Synopsis[]
Rachel and Ha Yura are discussing the arrival of some castaways that have arrived at the Ark of Knowledge, they have their pockets turned off so it's impossible to identify them but they seem like rankers at the very least. Rachel expresses interest but she has something she needs to do, so she leaves with Yura, Akryung, Ball Cap wearing team member, and an unknown team member.
Meanwhile, near the Lo Po Bia Family Mothership a floating ship appeared in front of Po Bidau Gustang, which contains Khun Aguero Agnis, Vicente, and their team mates, which Gustang recognizes as one of Zahard's Army floating ship. Khun recognizes Gustang upon seeing him and tells Vicente that Gustang is not someone you want to meet like this. At the same time, Gustang is informed that a likely Lo Po Bia Family floating ship with several rankers on it appeared at their own Mothership, which peaks his interest and Gustang orders them to be captured alive. Gustang decides to leave the Lo Po Bia Mothership and reschedule his meeting with Lo Po Bia Traumerei, leaving together with the floating ship with Khun and the others on it, which he does through teleportation.
At the Warp Fleet that contains Twenty-Fifth Baam and Traumerei, they are having a standoff between Baam, Ha Jinsung, and Cha against Traumerei. However, Traumerei is not focused on the hostile people in front of him, but rather feels that Gustang is not too far away. Traumerei tries to calm Baam down by saying that he won't kill his son-in-law, but Baam continue to refuse the marriage proposal with Jinsung backing him up. Traumerei will not back down and instead threaten to kill Cha, Jinsung, and even Baam himself if he does not get his way. Jinsung recognizes that they cannot continue to refuse the proposal, so he instead makes a counter-offer of having a Marriage Tournament so that Baam may evaluate the skills of his potential wife, with participation being open to outsiders and the prize of the tournament being marriage with Baam. This astounds Baam and makes him angry at Jinsung for proposing such a ridiculous idea, which Jinsung responds by explaining to Baam that the tournament is just to buy time. Traumerei agrees to the tournament, as he feels it gives him a pretext for allowing Baam into his family, but it is on the basis that Traumerei will organize it and decide where it will take place. Jinsung and Traumerei agrees on these premises, while Baam watches bewildered from the sideline.
Lo Po Bia Lilial Zahard has arrived close by to Traumerei and she feels a shiver despite it being summer. Back on the warp fleet, Traumerei gets a call on the pocket from Lo Po Bia Kirin, who reports that Gustang has left the Mothership with one of Zahard's Army floating ships, so Traumerei does not need to come back immediately. Traumerei is confounded by the news, but before he can gather his thoughts they are approached by Lilial in her floating ship, who is trying to make contact with the stranded floating ship. The crew of Lilial's floating ship announce that the Princess Lilial is present on board, asking for the people stranded on the Warp Fleet to meet her and pay their respect. Lilial is quite confident that even if there are high level members of her family onboard she will still be of higher status, with the crew member being offended on her behalf when Traumerei orders her to wait by the door and present herself, asking him who he is to order Lilial around. Traumerei reveals that he is the Family head to the shock of Lilial, who in the face of the family head becomes anxious and timid, trying to do everything in her power to accomodate him. Lilial stands ready by the door as Traumerei approaches and she presents herself to Traumerei, which he responds with ordering her to lift her head to see who will potentially be her future husband. She is surprised by this news, since Princesses are not allowed to marry, but becomes agitated when she sees that it Baam that Traumerei is talking about, as she recognizes Baam from photos she has seen of him. That they are familiar with each other surprises Traumerei and he views it as fate that they would meet like this and he takes the oppertunity to explain the situation to Lilial. He explains that she will compete with other women for the prize of marriage with Baam, which she tries to argue against, but the family leader's words are absolute. Lilial thinks to herself that she would rather kill Baam than marry him.
