Age of Coexistence

In the History of the Tower, Age of Coexistence refers to the time period, after the Age of Genesis.

After most allies of FUG accepted the option "coexistence", FUG stopped any major offensive acts against the Zahard Empire and their allies. Zahard also demanded the creation of several Walls of Peaceful Coexistence in various locations. These walls were built to seal ancient heroes of FUG from the the Genesis War.

The establishment of the walls as a symbol of peace was a huge success and set off a long period of peace in the Tower, at least on the surface. During this period the Zahard Empire properly established themselves as the most dominant force in the tower, while FUG could only hide in the darkness, sharpening their claws and continuing their search for a new opportunity to kill Zahard. There were a couple of incidents with the new Irregular Urek Mazino during the time, but the peace was kept despite this.

However, this changed when Irregular Twenty-Fifth Baam entered the Tower. Baam is believed to be the "Son" of Arlen Grace and the one destined to kill Zahard from Arlen's Prophecy. This caused major disturbances in the Tower after Zahard personally confirmed Baam's existence in the Hidden Floor and ordered the now former Corps Commander Kallavan to kill Baam in secret through the Three Orders. These Orders caused even greater disturbances when Zahard also demanded the extermination of the Po Bidau Family. This marked the end of the Age of Coexistence.
