52F - Defensive Battle (6): This is the hundred and eighteenth chapter of Volume 3 of Tower of God. It follows Baam and his companions as they escape The Frozen Waterfall. Meanwhile, the fight between Jinsung and Pudidy & Holan continues, which is intensified by the arrival of the dark owl Dobo on Pudidy's side.
Synopsis[]
The Frozen Waterfall shatters into a million pieces, causing the snake that wrapped around it to disintegrate, while Twenty-Fifth Baam and his companions escape from the destroyed monolith. Baam has a light blue tint to his eyes after absorbing Leviathan, which Khun Maschenny Zahard recognizes and notes that Baam likely got what he was looking for. Khun Aguero Agnis creates a gravity field with his Lighthouses to stop himself, Baam, Rak Wraithraiser, Aria, Vicente, and Hwa Ryun from falling, with Lo Po Bia Yool outside frantically trying to move inside the field. However, before anyone falls to the bottom of the floor Kell comes to pick them up in a Floating Ship.
Meanwhile at Ha Jinsung's side, Lo Po Bia Pudidy is telepathically communicating with Dobo the dark owl, asking it to help in the fight, but Dobo does not want to help anybody but the family leader, as Dobo views Pudidy as too insignificant to serve. However, Pudidy is able to convince Dobo to help by promising to introduce Dobo to the prettiest owl when they return to the Lo Po Bia Family Mothership, with Jinsung not able to hear what Dobo is saying makes the old man quite confused at the what seems to be Pudidy talking to himself. After Pudidy orientates Dobo about the enemy, they both charge towards Jinsung, who block both the attacks with his arms, but Jinsung notices that his arms are not properly healed after Kallavan's attack and he cannot sustain many of these attacks. Dobo recognize Jinsung as quite tough, so Dobo activates the ability Hunting Ground to even the battlefield, which creates a darkness that engulfs the corridor making it impossible for Jinsung to see Dobo or Pudidy. Pudidy and Dobo start to attack Jinsung, which makes Jinsung realize that the darkness does not only block sight but also his other sense, which means that Jinsung have to block attack at the last second putting extra strain on his damaged arms. Pudidy and Dobo attacks in melee, while Lo Po Bia Holan attacks from a distance using Cameroceras, which lead up to a powerful charged attack from Holan that even in the darkness Jinsung senses coming and Jinsung activates a shinsu barriers on his hands to block the incoming attack. As the attack lands, Baam arrives to help Jinsung in his fight against Pudidy and Holan, with Baam's first attack being a powerful Leviathan infused attack that pushes Cameroceras away, whose power surprises all the people present at the fight.

Hello, I'm SIU.
I'm not feeling well today, so this blog post is a little late. I'll be brief.
Over the weekend, I heard that Tower of God M Game took first place in both markets.
It's a game that came out under the name of my work, so I thought if it didn't go well, it might be a bother.
Still, I was a little happy, because I hoped the game would be good.
Of course, there will always be many problems, and there will be much more work to be done in the future.
For both the manhwa fans and gamers, I hope.
I hope it will be a good game that will be loved in the future.
I can't do much about it right now because I'm busy, but I'll do a game review soon.
And...
I have had a bit of a sore throat for the past few days, so I have been using the testing kit.
Today I definitely tested positive. Of course, I'll have to take a test tomorrow.

I don't know if it's a good thing or not, because I can work from home nonetheless.

- As SIU mentions in his blog post, Tower of God M: Great Journey released on April 20, 2022, a few days before this chapter was released. Under the chapter on Naver an advertisement was posted with art of Bam playing the game on a mobile phone, with an animated video promo for the game underneath it. The ad only appeared in Korean as the game was exclusive to South Korea at the time.
