Steel ingots are world objects in Fallout 76, introduced in the Expeditions: The Pitt update. They can optionally be interacted with and collected during Union Dues at the request of Wicker.

Characteristics[]

These are high grade ingots of steel that were forged before the Great War.

Locations[]

Five of them randomly spawn throughout The Pitt.

Industrial district (15)[]

On top of a wooden crate, out the front of the building Quality Hardware And other practical tools.

In the car near building Steelworks Flats.

On the bottom shelf in the small blue building, between Fanatics depot and Shipping yard.

On top of the orange shipping container in Shipping yard area.

In the right hand corner of the green container in Shipping yard area.

Inside the red truck trailer, all the way at the end near The Penn area.

On a pile of bricks near a building in the south of Shipping yard area.

Inside the trolleybus near Fanatics depot.

On the black roof Fanatics depot near crashed vertibird.

Steel Ingot pile is at the end of the counter inside pre-war restaurant Blind Pig.

On the platform/roof in front of The Penn gate.

On the second shelf of the metal table near the Veribird landing area.

On the yellow shelving unit of the green and silver building pre-war convenience store Pitt Stop.

On the metal roof in front of The Penn gate.

On the floor at the end of the catwalk inside building left Fanatics depot.

In Chem Lab area. The steel ingot is next to the fusion generator, behind the yellow diagnosis machine, tucked against the wall.

In Fire Pit area. In the blue metal building on the West side of the room, near one of the green goo vats, on the cabinet.

In Warehouse area, in the grey shipping container.

Notes[]

• Although the player is prompted to "take" the steel ingots, they are not actually miscellaneous items or quest items. They do not appear in the player's inventory, and are actually just static world objects that are interacted with to count towards the Union Dues objectives.
• The ingots can be collected by any member of the expedition at any time, including prior to the team leader receiving the objective from Wicker.
