The Theater is a location in NieR:Automata. A subsection of the Amusement Park, it was the site of a battle between 2B and 9S versus Simone, who had by then resorted to weaponizing androids it came across, even going so far as to lure the two using black box signals.
After the battle, the Theater sees proper use again during Stamp Collecting.
Location[]
The Theater is at the end of the Main Square in the Amusement Park. Once 9S heads to the God Box to retrieve the Park Access Key, the Theater and the area underneath it becomes unavailable for access until after beating the game, where it could be entered again via Chapter Select.
Points of Interest[]
A new type of machine lifeform per 9S's frantic analysis—attacks include standard projectiles, crucified YoRHa, and a large appendage underneath its "skirt". |
The Amusement Park Machines host their own interpretation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet as part of the park's stamp collecting game. |
Memories of a Songstress is unlocked upon defeating Simone in Route B. |
Notes[]
- As with most bosses during Route A, Simone's name is rendered in Angelic.
- Most of the machines in the park are passive and happy to help androids passing through. Like the machines encountered in the City Ruins early on, they will still turn hostile if attacked.
- The Romeo and Juliet units encountered in Stamp Collecting cannot be interacted with directly. Simply sit through the play to obtain their unit data.
