Unlocking a Hidden Story
Hidden Stories are a type of extra story in NieR Reincarnation. They are found in previously-completed chapters and must be deciphered by completing certain unlock conditions.[1]
Characteristics[]
Each summon character has 10 Hidden Stories. After completing a Main Story chapter, a limited number of Hidden Story nodes may appear on the Map. Interacting with the nodes is required to activate and begin progress on the specific story's challenges.
After finishing its requirements, the Hidden Story's node can be visited and activated again to unlock the contained story. Unlocking certain Hidden Stories can cause other Hidden Story nodes to appear.
Trivia[]
- 10H is implied to have been the one responsible for sealing the Hidden Stories. It was revealed in Gayle's updated Hidden Story No. 5 that she considered them a prank on Mama.

Hidden Stories
When you use the Map to proceed through The Cage, you may encounter hidden stories along the way.
By interacting with them and completing the displayed missions, you'll be able to read hidden stories for each character. On occasion, obtaining a hidden story will cause a new hidden story to appear elsewhere in The Cage.
