Remnants are a type of item and extra story in NieR Reincarnation. They provide stat boosts and may also feature short narratives. Remnants are unlocked by completing Main Story chapters or purchased from the Mama Points Exchange.^[1]

Characteristics[]

Every Remnant has a stained glass appearance and grants a stat boost to specific weapons or characters. Remnants obtained from the Main Story contain stories, but those obtained from the Mama Points Exchange or events often do not. Each summon character has their own story-containing Remnant.
