The Villa police station is a location within the Villa in the Sierra Madre in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Dead Money.

Background

Pre-War

Prior to the Great War, the resort's private police force was headquartered in the building. They were functionally operational during the construction of the Villa and before the planned launch of the Gala Event. Composed of former members from public law enforcement departments, Frederick Sinclair often made rounds to the station ensuring that they were operating efficiently. While initially he would be accompanied by one of the cutting-edge holographic security he purchased from Big MT, eventually Sinclair ceased the practice. The combination of human and hologram security was ultimately all in an attempt to completely secure the remote, private resort from all threats foreign and domestic.

To that end, Sinclair made orders for security to screen all entrants to the resort for certain objects that were to be banned from the premises. Apparently unbeknownst to Sinclair, however, his hired security force was plagued heavily by corruption, in no small part due to the machinations of the man responsible for the construction of the Villa, Mr. Yesterday.

Sinclair's list of prohibited items often proved difficult to enforce for the security officers, and the Villa police chief told him as much. However, he was not telling Sinclair everything about the daily activities of the security staff, as the chief himself was on Yesterday's payroll. Believing he could help the situation, Sinclair arranged for all entrances to the Sierra Madre being outfitted with an automated system installed that would confiscate items on the list and/or with even the slightest bit of radiation, programmed to ship them back to the visitor's source address.

Following the nuclear apocalypse, by 2281, the station's surroundings in the Villa became a hunting ground for the ghost people.[1][2][3] Despite the risk of scavenging posed by the "locals," Dean Domino made at least one successful attempt to get inside the place and pilfered multiple shotguns, "land mines," and other explosives to support his building of traps around the Sierra Madre.[4] On the inside, several radios have been left turned on due to an officer that was so excited for the Gala Event that he decided to turn on all the radios in the station to hear the event wherever he went.

Situated on the west side of the Villa, the central room contains a large cell occupied by Dog. There is a bed that can be used to sleep and a reloading bench that can be found in the third room to the right of Dog's cage.

There are various containers and lockers with random miscellaneous loot in each basement room, including Sierra Madre chips.
