The Showman's Pier (also spelled as Showmen's Pier) is a segment of the Atlantic City Boardwalk in Atlantic City in Fallout 76, introduced in the Expeditions: Atlantic City update part one, Boardwalk Paradise.

Background[]

This part of the boardwalk, formerly known as Shoreline Pier, was renamed with the addition of letters painted on plyboards and attached to the sign atop the boardwalk to reflect its new owners: The Showmen. The pier is home to stage shows, arcades, and other attractions, some noted to be safe (uncharacteristically so for the Showmen). It connects to the Aquarium of the Atlantic, a vast underwater aquarium used by them as an arena.[1]

Layout[]

The pier is a linear affair, separated into several segments. The entrance area contains the lobby, flanked by a small office and a kitchen/break room. Two guest areas flank the lobby from above, accessible from the stage area, which contain minor loot, Red Menace machines, and a potential magazine spawn.

The central area is focused around a central stage for Showmen entertainers (which also contains a usable drum set, steel guitar, and grand piano), surrounded by various confectionery establishments. Behind the stage area is a large Corvega sign against the wall, as well as a disused show car. Past that lies the connected corridor leading to the arcade. In the lit-up hallway past the stage, there are two bathrooms, which have been converted into Showmen dressing rooms. Zayde's on the southern side contains the notes Not enough and Imposter!; the other one is empty during The Most Sensational Game.

The penultimate area is the arcade, which contains multiple arcade machines, several of which can be interacted with, with the various stat improvements. The gift shop on the south side has a tinker's workbench that can be accessed through a hole in the wall. At the back wall is a Nuka-Cola mixer, with the same functionality as the one at Nuka-World. At the far end is the exit to the Aquarium of the Atlantic.

Notable loot[]

  • Potential magazine - In the entrance area, upper floor, right hand side, on the table.
  • Four bottles of Nuka-Cola Dark can be found on the shelves behind the bar opposite the stage.
  • My babies - Note, at the exterior of the pier, on the rooftop, directly above the entrance doors.
  • Not enough and Imposter! - Notes, in Zayde's dressing room on the southern side of the hallway past the stage.
  • Note to Dimples - Note, in the stall to the north.
