Secret Service agents are eight deceased members of the Secret Service in Vault 79.
Background[]
These agents were assigned to Vault 79 to protect the United States' gold reserves, which had been moved there from Fort Knox. At some point, some of the agents became frustrated with being locked inside the vault, a growing group led by Shorty. Shorty approached Reginald Stone, expressing his frustration, but Regs dismissed his complaints.
Shorty then led a mutiny attempting to replace Derek Garrison as the agent in charge. It killed several Secret Service agents. More agents were killed when the vault's reactor failed, turning those near the radiation into feral ghouls, who killed several survivors of the mutiny. [1] Eight deceased agents can still be found throughout the vault, in its abandoned areas.
