Costa Business: Herschel is a side quest in Fallout 76, introduced in the Once in a Blue Moon update.
It is the fifth of the seven Costa Business quests, which are non-repeatable and only one of which can be done per day.
Quick walkthrough[]
- Speak to Vinny Costa to start the quest.
- Check in on Herschel Klein. He is suffering from writer's block.
- Go to Torrance House, where there are rumors of a ghostly writer named Jacque. Collect the five (5) notes around the area. At the fourth note, it is revealed Jacque is a destroyed Protectron.
- Return to Herschel. The player can tell him the truth about Jacque or lie.
- Report back to Vinny to complete the quest.
