44F - The Last Station: Kallavan (6): This is the three hundred and thirty-second chapter of Volume 2 of Tower of God. It follows the end of the Jinsung-Kallavan fight, while Yuri pushes back against Cheonhee and Baam keeps several Rankers at bay.
Synopsis[]
After Jinsung's defeat, there is a flashback to when Jinsung trained Baam, where Baam would continue to train at the risk of his own health, so that he could meet his friends again. With Jinsung in a losing position, he orders Byuwen to fire the El Robina canon.
At the Last Station, Yuri is still fighting Cheonhee, with Cheonhee lecturing Yuri about here responsibilities as a Princess of Zahard. Cheonhee attacks with Vortex of Doom before exclaiming that Yuri never was qualified to be a Princess of Zahard. Yuri, tired of Cheonhee's patronizing, attacks with Rose Shower and sharply replies to Cheonhee's criticism. Yuri replies that the princesses are not chosen due to a sense of duty, they are just chosen when they reach a certain age. People that know nothing of the pressures always act strict, while those who knows how its like tries to relieve some pressure. Yuri ends her speech by telling Cheonhee that she can have the title if she wants it that much, but it will only suffocate Cheonhee anyway. Next, it transitions into a flashback prior to when Yuri was chosen as a Princess.
In the Ha Family floating castle, Yurin talks to a young Yuri, telling her that she will soon become a Princess of Zahard. Yurin tells Yuri of the many challanges of being a princess, asking Yuri if she can handle it. Yuri responds that she will do it as long as she can do what she does best. Curious, Yurin asks what that is, which Yuri responds with "Destroying things". Yuri, apparently taking after Yurin, really likes destroying things and want to destroy the restrictions placed on the Princesses. Yurin, amused by this response, tells Yuri that she can do it if she wants, since bearing the pressures of being a Princess requires some guts after all.
Back to the present, Yuri is pushing back against Cheonhee, going on a rant about the properties of being a Princess. Telling Cheonhee that if she wants a soldier that just obeys commands, she needs to look elsewhere, because that is not who Yuri is. Cheonhee is surprised by the power of Yuri, which was not present in prior fights between them, with Yuri admitting that she held back in those fights.
At a different part of the Last Station, Bright Sharon is fighting Baam, Karaka, and White. Karaka tells Baam to escape, since their objective is not to defeat all of Zahard's Army, but for Baam and the Regulars to escape. While Baam and the regulars escape, VAD and Charlie tries to stop them, with VAD using Jungle Angry Monster and Charlie using Panorama Light. In response to this, Baam stabs himself with the Black March, which gives Baam two black Shinsu horns and turn the Black March into a Shinsu sword. Using the new form of Black March, Baam uses Black March Floral Butterfly Piercing Technique to destroy the attacks of the Rankers. This scares the Rankers, which lets the Regulars escape, while Baam covers the rear.
The battle at the Last Station is not going well for Zahard's Army on any fronts, but then Kallavan appears in front of Baam. Kallavan immediately recognizes Baam as the threat, the one Zahard told him to kill.

Hello everyone, the afterwords have come back for this week ^^
This week's art is Kallavan..
Kallavan, I personally designed him with the concept of a young German soldier (with a goal that he is willing to fulfill blindly).
I wonder how you guys, my readers, are receiving it.
Since last week's chapter was pretty strong, so I wondered if I needed to scale things back this week. However, this arc's ended up with a pretty long tempo anyway, so I decided that it was unnecessary to do so. So I thought it would continue with a strong story progression.
The relationship between Yuri and Ha Cheon-hi is ... hmm... something you can see in most of the 10 families.
It has to do with how the Ten Families are a collection of people obsessed with being gifted, and as such they often have clashing egos.
Active Rankers can be a few hundred till a few thousand years old, but after growing up together in the family, there's not too many opportunities for encountering each other. So past memories from growing up last a long, long time, having an effect when they meet again.
Cheon-hi in this chapter believes that she made an adequate decision between her position as a member of the Ha family and as a division commander in the Zahardian Army, but since Yuri prefers doing what she wants instead of doing what would be adequate, so Yuri ends up being a truly Ha family style Princess. Well, every Princess gets picked for their own reasons, so ^^;
In Baam's fight scene, we can see him using the power of Black March like his own as well. Rankers have to admit that this attack would kill them if they were to be even grazed by it, so...
Of course, it's difficult to say that Baam is effectively using the powers he owns or borrowed. He might get DMCA'd by the original owners of his powers at this rate --;
In the last scene Kallavan himself has made an entrance: since this progression is non-linear, you'll have to see next week how he ended up here. This is probably the climactic threat of this arc. This lengthy arc is finally coming to a close. Please be on the lookout for how the future of the various characters and Baam is shaped!
Since it's winter now, it's gotten very dry. Make sure your lips don't get cracked (Mines are bleeding right now after underestimating the climate haha)
