NIER is a three-part online comic book series written by Ricardo Sanchez and published by Wildstorm, an imprint of DC Comics. The comics reveal what caused the "Black Scrawl" disease and the cataclysmic event that led to the condition of the world. The NIER comic are available on the NIER website, and through the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace.
