His Grace's Room is a location in NieR:Automata. The area is only used once in the game, for when 2B and Pascal investigate the Factory Machines that supposedly sought peace.

Location[]

The elevators that lead underground become accessible starting from Chapter 9. Pascal accompanies 2B inside the factory in 9S's stead, who mainly provides support from the Bunker during this period.

The elevator to His Grace's Room becomes available for access during Chapter 10, as 2B investigates the Factory Machines per the Commander's orders. A Pious Robot's Will can be found just before the elevator during Route C.

The room's machines become hostile after Kierkegaard's head rolls to the floor.

The seventh Picture Book is shown to take place here, with 9S hearing the words he stumbled upon while accessing the Bunker's server.

Notes[]

• Kierkegaard cannot be interacted with through normal means. Progress through the story as normal to obtain its unit data.
• The power in the factory will be mostly cut off after 2B's escape. Subsequent trips during Route C will require heavy use of the flashlight while exploring.
