Copper spleaves are joke blocks introduced in Java Edition 23w13a or b which are broken upon any contact with the player.

Obtaining[]

Copper spleaves can be obtained via the Creative inventory or with commands, as they are unobtainable by Survival means, even using a tool enchanted with Silk Touch.

Breaking[]

Copper spleaves cannot be obtained when mined, even using a tool enchanted with Silk Touch.

Natural generation[]

Copper spleaves generates when the structure Lunar Base on The Moon is activated.

Issues[]

Copper spleaves blocks are an unsupported item due to being an April Fools' joke, and therefore such issues relating to them will not be fixed.

Trivia[]

• Copper spleaves is a reference to the Minecraft minigame spleef. Spleef is a competitive minigame played within Minecraft. When playing spleef, players destroy blocks below other players, allowing them to fall off the playing field and into a pit. The object of the game is to be the last player on the field. Because of this, the name of the Copper Spleaves is a combination of the words "Spleef" and "Leaves".
