Netflix is an American over-the-top streaming service.
It is the exclusive streaming provider for the Karate Kid spinoff series Cobra Kai since its departure from YouTube Premium.

Netflix is a multi-million dollar streaming platform company that originated in the United States. It initially offered a delivery DVD service for a monthly fee, before branching into digital streaming. With its branch to digital media, Netflix quickly became one of the largest hubs for television and movies.
Karate Kid Franchise[]
Films[]
Netflix initially held the streaming rights to all of the Karate Kid films, with the exception of the spinoff film and 2010 remake. The rights to the films fluctuated as they and went from the platform throughout 2020 and 2021.
Cobra Kai[]
After YouTube Premium canceled Cobra Kai Netflix picked up the streaming sensation for the a third season. While the platform initially only planned to air the third season, the success of the series prompted them to renew the series through a fourth season, which has since extended to a sixth and final season based on the continued success of the series. Netflix had even wanted to continue the series past this, but the creators wanted to end the series on their own terms. All seasons of the series were made available for streaming upon a membership subscription.
